3d animation of a painting I made in watercolour after reading Malija Mokedem's novel; L'Interdite. This novel speaks of her own experience as an Algerian woman living in France and coming back to her homelans on the edge of the Sahara to find out that the man she loves, Yacine, has died a few days before her arrival. L'Interdite is about the inner life feeling and the relationship between a man and a woman in this Algerian desert. I wanted to portray a living body of emotion where the players of colors and animated textures are personalities. In this place I recorded myself chanting with lament of isolation, the detachment of the world.

Video de 12 minutes, qui raconte l'histoire de Hafida nee en France vivant Jusqu' al' age de 12 anspour etre ensuite mariee avec un homme de 27 ans au Maroc. Elle parle del'inegalite des femmes au Maroc, et de ses reves. Hafida a presente cette video a Tinjdad dans le cafe ou les emmes n ont pas le droit de s'assoire, et toute la communaute etaint emu de son courage.
